Viktor Stepanovich Grebennikov
Viktor Stepanovich Grebennikov (1927–2001) was a Russian entomologist, naturalist, and inventor known both for his scientific work and for his controversial claims about anti-gravity and insect-based technology. Grebennikov worked for many years in the Novosibirsk region of Siberia, conducting entomological fieldwork and ecological research.
However, his notoriety stemmed from claims made in his self-published book My World (Russian: Мой мир), particularly in a chapter titled The Flying Platform. In this account, Grebennikov claimed he discovered a form of natural anti-gravity linked to the microstructure of certain insect wing cases. According to him, these structures exhibited strange energetic effects, including levitation, time distortion, and invisibility.
Using what he called the “Cavity Structural Effect” (CSE), Grebennikov allegedly constructed a device, a small, wooden platform embedded with insect chitin structures—that could levitate and fly silently. He claimed to have used this platform for personal aerial travel, sometimes at high speeds and altitudes, all without visible propulsion.
